"As a solo mum I have found parenting young adults challenging. The parenting material from OwningIt was very helpful. It is never too late to learn new things. I think OwningIt has given my son and I clearer framework for managing expectations and behaviours.”
Trish, Mum

Thanks so much for the tips you shared which really helped me start an important conversation for the first time with my teenage son who is navigating the new world of relationships with girls.
We were so afraid he would shut down and shut us out. But your tips on how to start such tricky conversations, ensuring we do it respectfully, asking for their views, assuring them we love them, will not judge them, and ultimately want to support them through whatever they are facing really helped. I was so surprised and relieved he was receptive, shared his views. ”
K, Mum

The format of the videos were great as they were short which at our age is all the attention span most of us have. I found it extremely beneficial to reflect on what 5 values meant the most to me.
